School plays, grandparents visit, miscellaneous

Well, it's been a while since I have posted anything. Sorry! Anyway, we have been busy. My parents visited in late Feb. You'll see the picture of my dad with Maggie and Hannah after their plays. Maggie's class did "King Bidgood's in the Bathtub" and Hannah's preschool class did "Three Nanny Goats Gruff". They did such a great job. Maggie was the Duke and Hannah played Fanny Nanny! :-)

Mark's mom came for a visit a week later and she was able to spend a lot of time with the kids (and Mark and I too!) I think she and Jacob did every single puzzle we have in the house!

Jacob loves puzzles and has gotten quite good at them. He can pretty much put together this 60 piece one by himself! He's also in training for the Easter Egg Hunt Olympics. For the past two days, that is all he has been doing: hiding eggs and then finding them again!

Spirit Week

Maggie's school had Spirit Week the week before the Basketball tournament. Here we see her on Nerd Day, Clash and crazy hair day, and character day. They also did pajama day and school color day. The kids had a lot of fun with it, but I think it was a trying week for the teachers...

What our kids are up to...

Here are some hodgepodge of pictures of the few days the kids had off from school. We played ALOT! Jacob picked up lots of moss. We hosted a "bike day" for the school kids while they were off school. We closed off the parking lot so that the kids could ride all morning long! They had a great time! We went to the park on Friday with some school buddies!

While you were gone

While Mark was gone to Pastor/Teacher conference in Atlanta at the end of January, a group of concerned members set to work on his office. They tore off wallpaper, took down wallmounted bookshelves, put up new blinds, and so much more. Here are some progress pictures and the final reveal of "Extreme Makeover: Office Edition" at the end!

Dino World!

We went to Dino World down in Plant City this past week with the girls' classes. We had a lot of fun! The kids especially enjoyed digging for fossils and looking for buried dinosaur bones.

They had an amazing playground that the kids spent a great deal of time at!

Crusin the Withlacoochee River with Captain Mike

On Dec. 27 after Mom, Dad and Erica left, we decided to use some gift certificates to take a one hour ride on a nearby river. Here are some pictures from our adventure. Melissa got to experience it with us!

Hannah is 5!

Hannah celebrated her birthday at least three times! Once when my sisters were here, once on the 1st of Jan. and then once on her birthday with her cousins! Here are some pictures from those times!
