Mark and Angie ran in the "Beat the Sheriff" race on Saturday, Sept. 27. Both of us got our PR's (Angie's PR being since college days at least!) The fun thing about the race was that Citrus County Sheriff, Jeff Dawsy, ran in the race and whoever beat him got special recognition. Well, leave it to me to be the last person to beat him! He came in one second behind me! He's the one that pushed me to run faster than I have in a long time because whenever he got closer, I wouldn't let him pass me! We were joking around about it after the race and I even posed for a picture with him.
The kids also ran in the kids race that they held after all the other race participants came in. Our friend, Kim Bush, watched the kids while Mark and I ran! Thanks Kim!
